When we are told that opposites often attract each other, we could not agree more: we at Tartufi & Friends are used to mix flavors and tastes. In the end it always turns out that these mergers are the best.
Take for example our anchovy fillets with truffles. The best of the sea and the earth in one tasty and healthy product.
Anchovy is a food with extraordinary qualities: it is rich in quality proteins and virtually free of carbohydrates. It has a very high mineral content: selenium, important for the thyroid and as an aid against cardiovascular diseases and calcium, essential for bone health and against hypertension.
It is also one of the main sources of omega 3, known to reduce LDL cholesterol. Anchovy is truly a small marine jewel.
We put together Sea with our highly precious black truffle, to create a healthy food with an extraordinary taste. We fell in love with the anchovy fillets with truffles as soon as we tried them on a toast of bread for the afternoon aperitif.
As a feature of all our products, available at restaurants or online with shipping all over the world, we select only quality ingredients without adding anything else. For the anchovy fillets with truffles we use selected fillets and Italian summer truffles (Tuber Aestivum Vitt.). In addition only aroma, salt and olive oil.
